It’s a mild and murky night across the UK, with mist and fog over high ground and outbreaks of rain or showers moving north. There will be some dry spells too, but eastern Scotland turns increasingly wet and Orkney and Shetland stay windy. The clearest breaks are likely in the northwest Highlands and Northern Ireland, where easing winds could bring mist, fog and a little patchy frost, while most areas stay cloudy and around 6-7°C. - This is the Met Office UK weather forecast for the evening of 08/02/2026.
