Piece of Cake was created by myself and a fellow guildie to teach newcomers how to raid in World of Warcraft. It's a community focused on helping others and making World of Warcraft raiding a more positive environment. We teach raiders the mechanics of each fight, specific boss duties, and role duties. Our groups are organized by mythic raiders who have ample raiding experience spanning many expansions and raid tiers.

When I first started raiding in Siege of Orgrimmar during the Mists of Pandaria expansion, I remember how hopeless it seemed to get into a normal (now heroic) raid. Groups require Ahead of the Curve achievements to get in, but you can't get that achievement unless you get into a group. It's a discouraging aspect of raiding that I believe pushes a lot of people away from trying.
