So as most of you may know, Leafy was banned by YouTube. I don't agree with YouTube's decision. Not because I'm a fan of Leafy, but more on the side of how YouTube went about removing Leafy from their platform.

In this video, I discuss why Leafy's ban, why he shouldn't have been terminated, the censorship of Leafy (and others), and the issue with Community strikes.

YouTube's channel removal process is not that great. A channel should receive a community strike and the channel will be notified of it. This didn't happen to leafy. He had no community strikes.

The "censorship" on YouTube is getting worrying for many YouTuber's as they believe their channel could be next. I give examples of this happening to 2 other channels. Mumkey Jones and jschlatt. Both of their channels were removed out of the blue. Mumkey received 6 community strikes all at once. Schlatt was not given an explanation as to why he got the ban hammer. These were serious issues.

Schlatt did get his channel back, but Mumkey was not lucky. And neither was Leafy...


I still think Leafy's ban shouldn't have happened. What are your thoughts? Let me know in the comments.
