Frying a modular (miniature) circuit breaker (MCB) with currents exceeding its short circuit withstand capacity. The power source was a 2MVA 3x400/230V synchronous generator. The current peak was about 7,5kA while the MCB was rated at 4,5kA. Voltage and current oscillogram at the end of the video. No stunts or illegal activities are shown in this video. Safety first !
