Characteristic: Synodontis piedratus is peaceful and active catfish that does not grow into large size. Medium to large tank is recommended. It is nocturnal animal just like other synodontis species but will show themselves more often at afternoon once it is adapted well.

Unsuitable tank mates: small bottom feeder, small tetra and invertebrates
