I reckon the CX-30 nails the brief in a few important ways. It's a great size, starts at a strong price point, and the brand has heaps of dealerships across Australia. It's also relatively fun to drive, too.

It's a way more convincing thing than the Mazda3 in my opinion, and bigger and better than the CX-3, too. But is the CX30 really a winner?

Well, it could be that the best version is actually the top-spec, and it's not that affordable. And the lack of turbocharged or hybrid powertrains means you've really gotta rev the engine.

In this review, I'll cover all the things you need to know if you're considering a small SUV like this, and I'll give you a tip on a few great alternatives you might want to consider, as well!
