Hidden Exposures in Higher Education

In this webinar, FACS experts Lydia Feng, MS, CIH, and Madeleine Dangazyan, CIH, MS, reviewed lead hazards in schools, primarily focusing on lead paint and lead in drinking water. They also highlighted various common exposure risks present on college campuses. These hazards include formaldehyde exposure in anatomy labs, welding fumes in welding shops, dust particles in wood shops, volatile organic compounds (VOCs) in automotive workshops, and noise exposure in groundskeeping areas.
