It played host to everyone from Abbott and Costello to the Beastie Boys.

But for the better part of 15 years, the old Huntridge Theater has sat empty.

Last month, a developer purchased the venue for $4 million as the community and city pondered with to do with the empty facility located near Maryland Parkway and Charleston Boulevard.
