Top India Lawyer Fighting For Vinesh Phogat, Hearing Underway, CAS To Announce Decision Soon

The Court of Arbitration of Sport (CAS) on August 9, Friday has said that the decision on the plea made by Vinesh Phogat about her disqualification from the women's 50 kg category final will be out before the end of the ongoing Paris Olympics 2024. The Paris Olympics is set to have its closing ceremony on Sunday, August 11. Vinesh was disqualified from the competition on August 7, as she was overweight by 100 gm during the weigh-in before the final on Wendnesday.
