BENT CHETLER
For over seven years Chris Benchetler has redefined what’s possible on skis in the backcountry with the help of his pro model: the Bent Chetler. The latest generation, now part of our Backland FR Freeski family, carries on that charge. It features our revolutionary HRZN Tech, which gives it more surface area in tip and tail for even better floatation and an ultimate playful powder experience. And this year we’ve made the ski even lighter – for even more play.

BACKLAND FREERIDE LINE-UP:
Backland FR is our new range of freeride powder chargers and the successors to our massively popular Automatic series – created with freeride pros Sage Cattabriga-Alosa and Dana Flahr. The range includes a slimmer 102, versatile 109 and full-fat 117 option. The 109 and 117 also feature revolutionary HRZN Tech in the tip for more surface area and even better floatation. With their great performance-to-weight ratio, these skis are phenomenal hybrids: perfect for powder skiing and Freeride Touring depending on what bindings you mount – and still stable on harder snow. With a Carbon Backbone and a Light Woodcore we’ve also cut their weight by 10% to increase agility even more.

BACKLAND FREERIDE WOMEN's LINE-UP:

Backland FR W is our new freeride women’s series – taking over from last year’s Century skis. They’re for those days you’re feeling spunky, confident and ready to push yourself to the edge – whether that’s powder skiing or Freeride Touring.
