What’s the Night of the Living Dead movie about?
Johnnie (Bill Moseley) and Barbara (Patricia Tallman), brother and sister, visit their mother's grave. No sooner have they arrived than Barbara is attacked by a zombie. Johnnie manages to pull Barbara out of the clutches of her attacker but falls during the struggle, smashing her skull in front of her sister's stunned eyes. Barbara manages to escape and finds refuge in a house not far away. As soon as she enters, she realizes that there are zombies surrounding the house. Then comes Ben (Tony Todd from Candyman), an African-American in his 4X4 that is about to run out of petrol, who wants to shut himself in the house while waiting for help. Having heard the noise inside, they discover that they are not alone in the house. Indeed, five other people have taken refuge in the cellar. They are Tom (William Butler), the nephew of the owner of the house, his wife Judy-Rose (Katie Finneran), Harry (Tom Towles), his wife Helen (McKee Anderson) and their daughter Sarah (Heather Mazur) who is injured. From then on, they will try to find a way to survive by preventing the zombies from entering the house while hoping that help will arrive quickly...
