The Jeremy Days - Are You Inventive? (Formel Eins 1988)

Oh my. Here we are performing (a playback version - that's how it was done back then, kids) our debut single 'Are You Inventive?' for Germany's top music show 'Formel Eins' in 1988. It's kind of hard to explain how influential and important certain shows were back then. Remember, no internet, no YouTube, no TikTok. You went on a show like 'Formel Eins' and you had a half chance that the music lovers out there (the kids) would notice. They kind of did after this performance, although we were still playing to half empty clubs until our second single 'Brand New Toy' came out in early 1989 and changed everything.

Anyway, here we are all dressed up for the party in our 'London tailor for the icons of the music industry' Chris Ruocco made suits (designed for us by the legendary musician, designer, nightlife impressario Chris Sullivan himself).

WoooHooo. German pop culture didn't know what hit them. Ha.
