Excerpts from an audio recording of the brief period during which Dame Lansbury and Michael Kermoyan replaced Constance Tower and Yul Brynner in the 1977 revival of The King and I. This 3 week period was notable as it marked the first time since the original production that the actor playing the King did not get top billing.
