One Week in Newport Oregon

HANLEY'S JOURNEYS
We vacationed for one week with our friends in the Nye Beach neighborhood of Newport Oregon.
We rented the American Classic through VRBO. The convenient location was steps to the beach, restaurants and shops. Newport's central location made for easy day trips to Florence for ATV rentals, with numerous stop along the way to the south at landmarks such as Thor's Well, Heceta Head Lighthouse & the Sea Lion Caves to mention a few. To the north, Depot Bay with a stop at the Devil's Punchbowl Arch made for another fun day trip. Plenty of sea history to check out as well with the Yaquina Head Lighthouse & its Interpretive Center located just minutes north of town.
