I found this crochet kit at Sam's club for 14.98, I show almost the entire process of me creating Harry, and also a bit of tips on some the construction/stitches.

My favorite part of the kit is the book with all of the patterns, this kit is actually worth the price. I would say this is not a beginner kit, but most of the amigurumi patterns are pretty basic and not a lot of special stitches are used.
