The path we swing on is largely determined by our set-up positions, how much depth and turn we have in the backswing, how steep or shallow we are in the downswing, and how open or closed our club face is. There are many other things that can affect our path as well. Knowing that, our first goal is to correct or adjust these things, so that we have the ability to swing on the path of our choosing, whether that’s neutral for a straight shot, in to out for a draw, or out to in for a fade. Once the technique is proper for the shot shape you are trying to hit, there are drills that you should work on to help you groove your path and the shot shape you desire to hit, which is what this video is about
