Ssangyong Rexton / Thatcham immobiliser / Autosparx

On this 2018 model Ssangyong Rexton Autosparx have installed a Thatcham Category 2 insurance approved touch key immobiliser with two electronically coded touch keys.

The system arms automatically approximately 30 seconds after ignition switch off, preventing the vehicle from being started with the key alone.
Armed status is indicated by a red flashing LED incorporated within the dashboard mounted touch key receptacle

To disarm the system, a valid touch key needs to be briefly presented to the receptacle at which time the red LED will extinguish to acknowledge system disarm allowing the vehicle to be started in the usual way.

The system carries a Thatcham evaluation number of TE2-1240/0302 & can be certified for insurance purposes when supplied & installed by a Thatcham accredited engineer
