So, the way this works is - the battle is split into turns. You need to select which crowd appeal you want to go for on each turn.

If you choose the "Boast" (full combo) option, your ratings score will rise as long as you continue to full combo, but as soon as you drop your combo ("Decent" or worse), your score will tank.

If you choose heel turn, the crowd expects you to get decents (because they hate it when the bad guy does well). Your aim at this point is to get as many decents as you can, BUT it's actually pretty hard to get specifically decents, and any time spent not getting decents will cause you to lose ratings drastically. You also won't be getting any steps score, as decents are worth nothing, and at the end of the file, steps score is added to ratings score. THIS is the method you should be going for if you want the most ratings, though.

If you don't want to deal with the above two options, you can pick "pose", which will get you a one-off bonus that doesn't depend on how you do in the next turn, and the more times you pose, the more points you earn for doing it, or you can just cry, which is literally RNG as to whether or not it's worth anything.

TRIVIA: Mettaton EX has the most poses out of any character in UKSRTALE and was a pain to animate.

TRIVIA: Mettaton EX is actually dancing to the step data - his pose changes on every step.

TRIVIA: Shoutouts to    / puurokulho   for the spotlight effect, and also of course for UnderText speech systems.

TRIVIA: Undyne is the live studio audience who shows up due to being annoyed that I didn't feature her stage in Waterfall during the tournament.

UKSRTALE Progress Update:
This video is a preview for UKSRTALE.

UKSRTALE is set to be released around fall of 2016. NO DOWNLOADS until then! UKSRTALE is going to release as a standalone executable for Windows that includes what is essentially a full game of Undertale, made entirely in StepMania, mostly by me, but with a few special collaborators (such as    / puurokulho   and    / superemerald123   )

It's possible that I will make/release StepMania 5 versions of the files AFTER uksrtale releases, but this is not a guarantee.
