GeerTop Hammock and under Blanket.

I was kindly sent this hammock and under blanket out by ‪@Geertop‬ , and I just want to say this setup is mega.

First off the hammock. It’s a great piece of kit, and excellent value for money, it’s lightweight weighing in at just over 1kg for the whole setup. Packs down relatively small, and flattish, it has a built in mosquito net and stuff sack that doubles up as a pocket. The poles are super thin, they just roll up. Can be a bit tricky the first time to pack up, but once you know how it’s quick to pack. The sun shelter isn’t waterproof, it is exactly what it says, stops the suns rays from harming you. The tree straps are pretty standard, 2 meters with 2 holes at ether end. They can be a bit fiddly if the trees are a bit far away, and need to move the straps around etc, that’s why I take my ENO ones. But all in all the hammock is absolutely smashing, great value (in the UK just under £35) perfect for all around camping experience.

The under blanket. Again this is an excellent piece of kit. Stuffs down really small, lightweight, warm. Says not to use in winter and rated to 0 degrees, but I would probs use it all round ( but I am hot blooded).

Both items are a definite must if your budget is less then £70.
