The upcoming Call of Duty: Black Ops 7 has revealed several key changes aimed at improving the player experience. One of the major updates involves a significant reduction in the visual noise when firing weapons. Design director Matt Scronce confirmed that the team will "drastically reduce" distractions such as gun smoke and muzzle flashes, addressing a long-standing community complaint. This change is intended to prioritize gameplay and ensure a cleaner, more focused experience for players, particularly those using a keyboard and mouse who don't benefit from aim assist.

In addition to this visual adjustment, the game will introduce a new system for sharing loadouts. Players will be able to use loadout codes, which will unlock complete weapon setups automatically. Another important tweak relates to the grind for camos, as Black Ops 7 will require fewer headshots and offer a more consistent progression system. These changes aim to make the game more accessible and enjoyable for players.

The game will also see adjustments to perks. Based on feedback from Call of Duty League players, the slots for Dexterity, Scavenger, and Looper Perks have been changed to balance the gameplay better. The beta for Black Ops 7 will begin on October 2 for early access players, with the full release for all players on October 5.
