If you ask anyone what the best Cayman is, in fact best Porsche is, the easy answer right now is the GT4. There’s no denying it’s one of the best performance cars on the road. However, few budgets stretch to the GT4, and they haven’t been on the market long enough, arriving in 2015, to drop in price range. Rewind the clock to the previous-generation Cayman, and the Cayman R might just be the affordable equivalent.
