Presented to WTO members at a 17 October meeting of the WTO's Committee on Rules of Origin, the Rules of Origin Facilitator provides firms with free access to a unique searchable database on duty savings in trade agreements, and the corresponding rules of origin.
WTO Director-General Roberto Azevêdo highlights the benefits this tool brings to both governments and companies, particularly to smaller businesses in developing and least developed countries.
The Rules of Origin Facilitator is the result of a partnership between the International Trade Centre (ITC), World Customs Organization (WCO) and the WTO.
