LEAD 2 – FBLP 5 Workshop 3 Highlights 📽

What does it mean to be a "bridging leader"?

After a period of testing their change project prototypes in their chosen communities, the LEAD 2 – FBLP 5 fellows were back for the final workshop of the Future Bridging Leaders Program of the AIM TeaM Energy Center for Bridging Leadership.

The third workshop centered on the Co-Creation phase of the Bridging Leadership Framework. It aimed to create concrete ways to deliver and sustain their change projects, strategize to scale up for long-term social impact, develop their public narrative to engage more partners, and build the fellows’ capacities to co-create new institutional arrangements. The fellows had diverse and deepening sessions on pitching their prototypes, giving voice to their values, transformative scenario planning, futures thinking, and bridging their prototypes to institutionalization. Delivered by distinguished faculty of the Asian Institute of Management, Prof. Manuel De Vera, Prof. Richard L. Cruz, Prof. Masaki Mitsuhashi, Dr. Timothy Ting, and Prof. Shermon Ortega Cruz Cruz. Prof. Milagros Lagrosa also gave a session to the LEAD 2 - FBLP 5 fellows to deepen and reconnect with their purpose and discover the gifts of the Filipino psyche with Mr. Jay Batoon, Faculty at the Depth Institute of Asia.

To set an example of a deepened purpose and an effective public narrative, FBLP Cohort 1 Alumni, Paulo Benjamin Guico of Ben&Ben came in to discuss his co-evolved change project, Sounds like Change. A Puhon and PhilPop project, in collaboration with PETA, focused on bridging the Indigenous Community of Bukidnon to the bigger Filipino community through music and songwriting exchange.
