Few I use are Okuma Celilo Graphite Lightweight Ultra-Light Trout Rods 4.5’ Bass Pro Shops Micro Lite Graphite Spinning Rod 4.6’ / 5.6’ , 500 Reel Kast King, 4 lb.– 6 lb. test. Carry a Ole Man Rope for the steep banks. Consist of a large stroller clip and rope size 5/8” or ¾ “ Polypropylene Rope about 15’. Most all the roads that you can park just off the Hwy has a sign saying either Catch & Keep or Catch & Release.
