I remember seeing the pottery pieces illustrating (quite graphically) the story of Osiris and Isis, at the British Museum years ago (I’m not sure if they are still there) and being fascinated with the idea that Iris “blows” life into him by sucking on the p*nis.

Humans have always been fascinated with oral s** and it’s been very widely explored throughout history and cultures but as with everything to do with pleasure this has also been reduced to its bare basics - i.e. some form of sucking or swallowing, which for some people can be very pleasurable but for others even the thought of it can be really stress inducing.
In fact the Kama sutra mentions a number of different oral pleasure techniques that do not include taking anything into your mouth.
But in order to learn we need to break the silence, and for that we need to break the taboos and stigma.
It’s time to change the narrative…..
