Singapore positioning itself as top international arbitration hub: Shanmugam

Singapore is forging ahead to position itself as a leading international dispute resolution hub. Law Minister K Shanmugam said the country will host the signing of a major UN agreement on dispute resolution, called the Singapore Mediation Convention this year. He said this is a significant step for global commercial mediation, as it will improve how mediated agreements are enforced across borders, and give businesses more certainty.
