The Russian aerospace forces continue propelling the Syrian ground troops along with the allied forces in their objectives against the self-proclaimed Islamic state in the oil-rich province of Deir Ezzor.

Air raids video footage released by Russian state media ‘Russia-24’ emerges powerful bombarding carried out against several targets for ISIS in the vicinity of the bordering city of Al-Bukamal.

At the meantime, the Syrian troops and allies still combating the ultraconservative group of of ISIL in the suburbs of Al-Bukamal in order to take it back to government control.

he Syrian Arab Army (SAA) and their allies have launched a fresh assault on the Islamic State’s (ISIS) defenses in occupied Albukamal, today, a military source told.

Led by the attack helicopters of the elite Tiger Forces, the Syrian Arab Army and their allies pounded the Islamic State’s positions in Albukamal, inflicting heavy damage on the terrorist group’s defenses around the city.

The attack would also kill several Islamic State combatants, including three terrorist field commanders that led the counter-assault against the Syrian Army this weekend.

The dead Islamic State commanders were identified by a Syrian military source as Hani Al-Thalji, Abu Munzer Al-Shishani (Chechen national), and Abu Mohammad Al-Safi.

This latest assault by the government comes just hours after the Tiger Forces launched a powerful attack from Al-Mayadeen in a bid to reach Albukamal’s northwestern sector.
