森の中に佇む初期キリスト教会群の跡があるグレンダーロッホと12世紀に建てられたキルケニー城に行ってきたよ。グレンダーロッホは聖ケヴィンが６世紀にこの地で修行したのが始まりとされる。キルケニー城は12世紀に建てられ２度の改築を経て１９世紀に現在の姿になり、豪華な内装に圧倒されるよ。~ I went to Glendalough where the early christian settlement remained in the woods and Kilkenney Castle that was built in the 12th century. Monastery at Glendalough was founded by St Kevin in the 6th century. Kilkenny Castle was built in the 12th century and became what it is after remodeling in the 19th century. It is very splendid and gorgeous inside the castle !
