She dreamed and achieved new heights. Pushpa Basnet, CNN's 2012 'Hero of the Year', started her tumultuous yet courageous journey back in 2005. This video 'Pushpa Mamu' from 2009 was part of USAID-funded TV series 'Mero Jindagi, Mero Biswas' ('My Life, My Belief'), which featured Pushpa along with 25 Nepalis who have inspired change in their communities.
