It is HOT in Alabama this summer. We are about halfway through our current flock, and the main way we keep our chickens cool is through wind speed. At the end of our chicken houses we have several 48" fans that pull air across the chickens on hot days. From time to time, we have to replace fan motors, belts, bearings etc. In this video we change out some pillow block bearings and also install a new fan motor.
