Gen is an upscale Korean BBQ experience from Los Angeles California and franchised to the Philippines in August 2017 by Excellor Restaurant Management Group. Their first branch outside the United State and and largest branch in the world was built at SM By the Bay next to SM Mall of Asia with a seating capacity of 500 guests. Gen is undoubtedly one of the best Korean BBQ buffets you can enjoy in the Philippines as they use premium imported meats, tasty sauces and have efficient service so while you may pay double or even triple the price of the average Korean BBQ buffet in Manila, you will be getting what you pay for.

The modern interiors have a K-Pop Vibe and ambient neon lit portal
lighting.

The buffet price starts at PHP 598+ ($US 12.00) up to PHP 1,288+ ($US 26.00) depending on your choice of over 30 different cuts and dishes and day of the week. On this visit we try their weekend PHP 998+ ($US 20.00) lunch buffet. Take note the banchan, beef, pork and chicken are all imported from the United States so the dining experience and flavor should be the same as the U.S. branches. Only the seafood vegetables are local.

We would highly recommend focusing on the Premium Chadol U.S. Angus Brisket, Woo Beasal Beef Belly.

Take note drinks are am add on to the buffet price like unlimited soft drinks and wine as well as cocktails.
