Fear.
fear was my greatest foe, lying to me, telling me i can't do it
i had to push against the noise and believe in myself, see all the doubt and still go thru it

do you want a comfortable life or a meaningful one?
is it the likes and the hype that's keeping you strong or something much deeper, intrinsic within?

cus what happens when you close that door and it's just you on the floor, alone with your thoughts? nowhere to run, nowhere to hide
insecurity buried in pride, you mask it so well but i see all the signs
know thyself, guard thy heart, for from it come the issues of life
seek and you'll find, what your heart desires, the Lord will provide, the more you delight... in Him!

read 1st Kings, Solomon's things. He asked for wisdom and got... everything!
because he put. God. first.
a discerning heart, to lead and serve, to love God's sheep, His chosen herd
cus his motives were pure. upholding the law, his one concern
like his father, their hearts were for you
so, if i may, id also like to: ask for wisdom
i know you're generous, don't hold back
cut me some slack, ive been under attack!
a decade of lack to auto-correct
a track full of laps of personal bests
but im still where im at, they aint heard of me yet

conquering myself is the very 1st step - discipline and diligence
a man without them is like broken walls
even if he's 10 feet tall, with the smallest of bribes, he's easy to fall

so i answer the call. everyday. suffering and silence, the price i must pay for peace, joy and power in finding my way.

i don't know how close, but im know im on the road
my hand's to the plough and i WILL NOT let go, through the sun and the rain, til i reap what ive sowed
