"I think I started singing around the age of five. After many years in this industry, both on, in front of, or behind the stage, one of my friends recently reminded me never to give up on my dreams and to start doing what I love most...
That's WHY I've decided to pick up writing, singing and making music again. Without any expectations for what's ahead, without any regret about the past.
Being a dad of two beautiful daughters, and after coming out only recently, for the very first time in my life, I feel I can write and sing about anything.
These first releases are truly a gift to me and will hopefully also find appreciation by some of you, old friends, new friends, long-time followers, family or maybe even new audiences around.
I am so very proud to finally unveil and share Flames and Fables with you, and to be able to realize what feels like a childhood dream come true!
For as long as I can remember, I've always told myself that I could become a singer, that nothing is impossible if you continue to work hard and never give up. However, for some years I might have lost parts of that courage and faith.
Today, more than ever, I feel so strong and safe to share my music and words with you again.
THANK YOU to some of my very talented friends for collaborating and believing in this new project. Thank you Jurian Mooren, Arne Vanhaecke, Will Maas, Frank Van Essen, Remi De Roeck, Hélène Declerck, Annemie Dhaene and Jo Cassiers.
