Welcome back to Forgotten in Time! Today, we embark on an enchanting journey to a stunning Pink Lady Victorian home nestled in the heart of East Georgia, dating back to the 1900s. This remarkable residence has been cherished through generations, passed down lovingly within the family since its inception. The great-grandparents, along with the grandparents, played pivotal roles in the community, actively participating in various local initiatives. In the early 1980s, tragedy struck when a fire threatened the home, but fortunately, it was extinguished before extensive damage occurred, necessitating a significant remodeling effort. The family dedicated nearly two years to restore the house to its former beauty. Sadly, in the early 1990s, the grandparents passed away just two years apart. The early 2000s brought further heartache as the mother succumbed to lung complications, followed closely by the father. The last residents, the daughter and her partner, called this home until the mid-2000s, when it was declared uninhabitable until repairs could be made. Now, the house stands abandoned, but efforts are underway in collaboration with the Historical Society to revive this cherished landmark to its original splendor
