BACKUP CAMERA INSTALLATION--Hyundai Santa Fe Sport (Step by Step)

Today, we are replacing our rear back-up camera on our 2018 Hyundai Santa Fe Sport Base model (part #957602W650). We show you step by step how to remove the panels & tail-lights on the hatchback in order to replace the backup camera.
Please be mindful that even though some websites say a certain part is guaranteed to fit your vehicle by the year, make & model of your specific vehicle, it is recommended to remove the old backup camera, or the part you're working with to get the part number, this way your guaranteed to get the correct new part in return. We went on Amazon, and we searched backup cameras for 2018 Hyundai Santa Fe Sport with our specific VIN, and the part I ordered said it is Guaranteed to fit my 2018 Hyundai Santa Fe Sport with VIN. When the part came in the mail, the new backup camera fit in the existing hole on the hatchback, but the backup camera connector was very different and did not fit on our vehicle. So naturally we had to ship it back and get the correct part.

Technically, you do NOT have to remove the rear tail-lights, but it is recommended to remove to give you a little more accessible space when installing your new backup camera.
