St Nicholas Day - Alliteration Adventure 1728: Poem - Alliteration

Today is St. Nicholas Day, or the Feast of St. Nicholas. It is a day to celebrate St. Nicholas and check to see if the children are behaving. This holiday is celebrated all across Europe, and I know that in Spain, St. Nicholas, dressed in the red robes of a bishop, arrives on a white horse that night. That night, small gifts are left in shoes or stockings for good children. So, let's celebrate St. Nicholas Day by saying this short poem together.

Saint Nicholas Day

On St. Nicholas Day, so merry and bright
Shoes and socks are stuffed in the still of the night
With gifts and good graces for glad hearts to sway,
We honor kindness in an old-fashioned way.
