How to Customize Page Punchers Batman Mcfarlane

working on another version of Page Punchers Batman, a whole different color scheme.

This time black and red... its commission so the idea comes from the client.

Just straight black makes hard to distinguish the detail. I applied Vallejo Color shift paint / blue / violet to create an armor tone on the outfit. Dry brushed in light silver. Then sealed it in Liquitex matte varnish.

The red on the gloves and belt is Tamiya x-27 over silver to make it a metallic look.

The cape is two tone, black pleather and red sparkle pleather. I used iron on tape to bring it together... I did sew the stitch design .... I glued the edge on the scallops to trim them clean.

The four wires in the cape are anchored into the body to provide support for the cape.

The grapnel gun is two parts joined together with superglue .

The grapnel is a metal rod that ports into the grapnel gun and the end is 3 batarangs joined together.



Sharing techniques to customize current action figures by painting or sculpting what is needed. Producing a figure the is either improved or just creating one from parts of other figures.
