Minecraft 1.20 Iron Farm Tutorial! ▫ Minecraft Survival Guide S3 ▫ Tutorial Let's Play [Ep.38]

The Minecraft Survival Guide Season 3 continues in Minecraft 1.20!
In this tutorial we build a simple, cheap iron farm design for Minecraft Java Edition. Please note: this farm does not work on Bedrock Edition at the time of this recording.

Iron Golems are naturally spawned by villagers when they feel threatened and there isn't already an iron golem around. Today we take advantage of that by building a super simple setup in which three villagers are menaced by a nearby zombie, causing them to create iron golems which we then push into lava using flowing water, destroying them to collect iron ingots.

Along the way I showcase a great way to trap a zombie in a cauldron, explain easy ways to spawnproof blocks, and discuss how villagers can spawn iron golems even when they aren't panicking.

We also take a look at how to find your world spawn point, why an Iron Farm works in the Spawn Chunks but crop farms don't, and how to make sure your Iron Farm zombie doesn't despawn!
