3D Printed half axle differential build

Описание к видео 3D Printed half axle differential build

Showing the parts and build process of my roughly 1/15 scale RC chassis.

The differential system is based on Tatra/Pinzgauer trucks. It allows solid half axles to swing up and down without universal joints. A servo powered differential lock is possible, when I get round to designing it.

Each differential/axle unit can be bolted to the back of another with a simple tube chassis part and drive shaft. Steering versions use a short axle arm with steering knuckle and universal joint. This means you can easily make a 4x4, 6x6, 8x8 etc from modular parts.

The axle ends have portal hubs to improve clearance.
