We are finally back with our cooking videos! We are so sorry on the delay on this one - Abbey really just needed some time to rest up and recover from her delivery - but everything is better now as Noah is now 6 weeks old - so we are ready to get back to normal. If you have any other recipes you would like to see on the channel - please let us know in the comments below and we will try our best to make them for you all! The recipe is listed below.

THE RECIPE:
Ingredients:
4x potatoes
3x spring onion strands
3x green chillis
Salt
Black Pepper
Hing powder
Garam masala
Red chilli powder
Amchur powder
Garlic paste
Bread crumbs (make your own from approximately 3 slices of bread)
Oil (whichever you prefer, we use olive oil)
Corn flour

Directions:
Firstly, boil and peel potatoes, and then mash them all together in a big bowl. Next, chop and grind the green chillis and spring onions, and mix them into the mashed potatoes. Next, add in 2 teaspoons of salt, 1/2 teaspoon of black pepper, 1/2 teaspoon of garam masala, 1/4 teaspoon of red chilli powder (optional depending on the level of spice you would like), 1/4 teaspoon hing powder, 1 teaspoon amchur powder, 1 teaspoon of garlic paste, and mix well with your hands or just until fully incorporated. Next, grind bread slices in grinder until they are in bread crumbs, and slowly add in to the potato mixture with your hands until you have enough that it is holding together like a ball and not falling apart.

Now that your mixture is ready, put a small amount of cornflour onto a plate, and get a small amount of mixture and roll it into a ball in your hands and flatten, and make sure mixture is even at each part, and dust the cornflour onto the patty on both sides lightly (to ensure the crispy finish!). Next, heat up your pan with a little oil (or oil if you want to deep fry the tikkis), and add in the patty, brushing a little more oil on the top as you add them. Cook these for a few minutes on each side or until your desired crispness - and they are all done! Ganish with whatever you like - such as yoghurt, onions, sauces, or anything else you enjoy.
