After 5 long years, on Tuesday 3rd December 2024 at 8:21am, the first passenger service ran from Newcastle Interchange to Central Station for the very first time. This recording was me going up to Newcastle from Central station meaning the second service running, then catching it back down to Central again.
This day was all about celebrating the long awaited train, showing all have what is got to offer, then seeing and meeting new people to interact and enjoying the majority of the day.
