There are no shortage of lists of recommended toys for play therapy. In this webinar Dr. Mullen and her student, Alison Gooley, share their recommendations and insights about to selection and use in therapeutic playrooms. They get in depth describing the what, where, how and why of toys highlighting other considerations like settings, clean-up, limit setting and themes. Special attention is given to the toy selection and rationale in the Child-Centered Play Therapy approach.

By the end of this webinar:
1. Participants will be able to identify a minimum of three ways to include toys that honor diversity of culture in play therapy.
2. Participants will name at least two themes in play therapy that are connected to specific toys.
3. Participants will be able to create a general toy list for getting started in using the play therapy approach.
