Devon Nicholson's WWE Scouted Match - Iowa 2014

DEVON NICHOLSON 2014 WWE TALENT SCOUT EVALUATION

This WWE evaluation match was part of the Impact Pro Wrestling event during the Lou Thesz/George Tragos National Pro Wrestling Hall of Fame weekend in Waterloo, Iowa July 17-19, 2014.

The men in the match were selected to compete on the main card following an evaluation earlier in the day from two Hall-of-Famers - legendary announcer Jim Ross and Gerry Brisco, who is now a talent scout for WWE.

Despite getting positive feedback at the evaluation it took WWE talent scout Gerry Brisco nearly 2 years to get Devon Nicholson accepted into an official WWE try out at the Performance Center in Orlando May of 2016 however Nicholson was notified a week after being accepted by WWE talent relations that he was now "uninvited" to the try-out with no explanation provided and no follow up questions answered.
