These scriptures really hit home base for me and my relationship with the Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, Yeshua (God Saves). I found myself relating to it so much, that I shared a lot that the Lord had communicated to me, about my flesh nature. He wants to clean me up, and wants me to be yielded to him. The yielding is necessary. I and everyone that is chastised by the Lord, should be glad, because it means that we are his children. Hopefully repented children.
