Investigating a barren planet for life-forms, a starfleet crew discover a monstrous alien intent on devouring them all as the Captain uses the situation to test his new officer's survival skills in an amusingly dangerous trial by fire.

Monstrosity is a self contained short film that tells the tale of a giant monster, and a crewmember being put through the ringer by his eccentric captain. The story is in the spirit and tone of classic Star Trek, with a fair amount of surprises along the way. A tight story with twists and turns on a nonexistent budget. As per usual, we do a lot with very little. New worlds, action, adventure, creatures, aliens, conspiracies and surprises.

Shot on the trusty, very beat up Cannon 7D and edited with Adobe Premiere Pro. As usual, our goal was to cram as many Star Trek references and big ideas into this fun 15 minute adventure as possible. Hopefully we've given you some of the more unique Star Trek Fan Productions out there. Check 'em out!

Monstrosity was created as a bit of a challenge: Create an entire star trek fan film centered around a royalty free green screen monster on youtube. If anything, we finally got to have a proper crew mission before the big finale coming next year.
