Many of us gun enthusiasts, campers, hikers and preppers use the same or similar weapons and equipment used by government agencies. In this video we explore to what extent, if any, we should allow the equipment government agencies use to influence our personal buying decisions.

The purchasing methods and priorities governments have are much different than most individuals. The information provided by widespread usage of equipment in the public domain can be very valuable. However, we should not assume that gear that has a government entity's seal of approval is either of good quality or appropriate for our own needs.
