PL: Filmowa relacja z budowy podziemnego przystanku Łódź Polesie w tunelu średnicowym. To jedna z czterech podziemnych stacji w łódzkim tunelu. Tunel kolejowy pod centrum miasta o łącznej długości niemal 10 km stworzy system łódzkiej kolei podziemnej nazywany jest często małym metrem nie bez powodu, gdyż funkcjonalnie stworzy mieszkańcom miasta namiastkę metra. Na filmie inżynierowie kierujący budową tunelu oraz stacji opowiadają o pracy tarczy TBM (Tunnel Boring Machine) oraz ciekawostkach związanych z tą największą w Łodzi inwestycją kolejową. Stacja Łódź Polesie znajduje się w rejonie skrzyżowania ulic Ogrodowej i Karskiego w pobliżu Centrum Handlowo-Rozrywkowego Manufaktura zlokalizowanego w zabytkowych budynkach fabrycznych z XIX wieku. Jedno z wyjść ze stacji będzie połączone z budynkiem centrum handlowego. Chociaż w nomenklaturze kolejowej Łódź Polesie będzie przystankiem osobowym a nie stacją to z uwagi na olbrzymią kubaturę obiektu dużo większą niż stacje warszawskiego metra trudno nie nazywać go inaczej niż stacją. Jak wyjaśnił Pan inżynier kierujący budową tunelu tarcza TBM stoi obecnie pod ulicą Mielczarskiego w Łodzi a jej czoło znajduje się pod kamienicą nr 28 w odległości 11 metrów od ściany szczytowej kamienicy przy ulicy Legionów 59. As the engineer in charge of the tunnel's construction explained, the TBM shield is currently standing under Mielczarskiego Street in Łódź and its head is located under the tenement no. 28 at a distance of 11 metres from the gable wall of the tenement at 59 Legionów Street.
