Imran Khan Picture Kites Banned | Punjab Govt Takes Action


Punjab government has imposed strict restrictions ahead of Basant festival in Lahore after PTI announced a protest by flying kites featuring Imran Khan’s images on February 8.
Under Section 144, political, religious, and personality-based kites have been completely banned. Authorities have warned of legal action against manufacturing, selling, or using such kites for the next 30 days. Only plain, colorful kites without images will be allowed during Basant.
The move aims to prevent political unrest and maintain law and order during the festival.
