This is a technique I developed with buttock augmentation with implants. The dual plane technique puts the implant partially in the muscle in the lower buttock, and above the muscle. This allows for a longer lasting stability of the implant with the muscle coverage without the animation of a implant completely in the muscle. The dual plane also allows for a larger implant for augmentation. I resume sitting at 2 weeks, and return to all normal activities at 2 months. Final appearance and result takes a full 6 months.
