Welcome. In this video, you will learn how to create a vertical text layout in Canva.

Step 1: Start by selecting your background. Change the background color to your preferred choice.

Step 2: Add a text heading to your canvas. Type in your desired content.

Step 3: Convert this text to uppercase using the transform option in the text toolbar.

Step 4: To make this text vertical, click and drag the right or left edge of the text box inward to narrow its width. The text will automatically stack into a vertical column.

Step 5: For a better appearance, adjust the line spacing. Open the advanced text settings and modify the spacing value.

Step 6: Now, add another separate text heading with different words.

Step 7: Convert this second text block to uppercase as well.

Step 8: For this text, you can choose a stylistic font like "Fatimi". Resize the text, then rotate it precisely ninety degrees using the rotation handle above the element.

Step 9: Position this rotated text block to align vertically next to your first text column.
